Thomas Jürgensen has been a lawyer since 2000. He studied law at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel, specializing in commercial and corporate law. He carried out his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Hamm, also with a focus on commercial and corporate law. Thomas Jürgensen has been working with Dr. Hubertus Schwarz since 2000.

His corporate practice includes M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and financings. His M&A expertise includes advising listed companies as well as negotiating and structuring cross-border acquisitions. He advises board members and managing directors on the drafting of their employment contracts and on issues of directors’ liability. In addition, Thomas Jürgensen advises predominantly medium-sized companies on all commercial law issues of their day-to-day business. He is experienced in drafting and negotiating international contracts.

Thomas Jürgensen has many years of experience in litigation and regularly handles very complex contentious proceedings, especially in commercial disputes. As part of his admission to practice, he represents our clients in all instances, such as before the Federal Labor Court or the Federal Constitutional Court.

He has held various supervisory board mandates, repeatedly also as chairman.

Thomas Jürgensen regularly participates in renowned conferences. He has completed the specialist course for tax law.
